Secondly, if they are ionizing air purifiers, they release ozone, which at 35,000 feet is a good thing, but if it's in my house, it makes me really sick. Ozone is a chemical that can cause severe irritation, akin to inhaling ammonia. Some people think it's a fresh smell, others get really ill.
