Pet owners with allergies have to make special arrangements to enjoy their animals without having attacks from their allergies. These allergies can cause coughing, sneezing and runny eyes.
Give your pet his or her own bed. If you suffer from allergies, the last thing you are going to need is to have your pet sleep in your bed. The dander and hair that they leave behind is a sure way to set your allergies off. Choose a bed that is sized to your pet. While you may not need a extra large dog bed for a toy breed, choose the bed that is the correct size and your pet is more likely to sleep in their own bed and stay out of your bed. Whatever vacuum you choose needs to have good suction and filtration so that the hair or dander is not sprayed back into the air.
Sometimes pets sleep in unheated laundry rooms. While this is fine most of the time, on very cold nights, you pet will appreciate a little heat. A Delonghi space heater can be set on top of the washer or dryer and out of the pets reach to provide a warm place for the pet to sleep. In addition, it may provide the needed heat to keep your water pipes that supply the washing machine from freezing and bursting.
To help alleviate allergy symptoms, you will need to bathe your pet regularly. One hand addition is the hand held shower. It will replace your normal showerhead and is convenient for both pets and humans. Models are fairly inexpensive and allow you to bathe the pet even in the winter, when bathing is normally difficult due to the cold temperatures outside the home.

Ceramic dishes are heavier than plastic and less likely to tip.
Stainless steel is virtually indestructible and can be easily cleaned. It is dishwasher safe, so the bowls can also be sterilized on occasion.
